Country Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme
The Country Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme (CPDSS) is run by the WA government to assist in the cost of dental treatment for people who receive a payment from Centrelink or have a health care card.
For those eligible people living in the country without a nearby public dental clinic, the CPDSS program enables you to visit a participating private dentist and receive treatment at the same cost as a public clinic.
What are the benefits of CPDSS?
Eligible patients can receive an examination, 2 emergency treatments, and $1500 of general dental care per year.
How is your rebate determined?
Patients who would like to receive a rebate from dental health services need to bring a current income statement and an up to date pension or health care card to their dental appointment.
From there, our receptionist will call dental health services and determine the percentage that will be covered for the dental treatment.
The level of dental subsidy you are entitled to receive from the WA government is based upon the income you receive from Centrelink.
